SMS Terms & Conditions
The rules for the HEAT, LLC text message programme — what we send, how often, how to get help, and how to stop.

By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from HEAT, LLC (RMR Cooper&Hunter) related to your purchase orders, shipments, back orders, and support, warranty and credit-memo cases. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier. You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying with “STOP” to any SMS message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message, and we will cease sending SMS messages to your number. If you need assistance or have questions about our SMS service, reply with “HELP” to any SMS message you receive, or contact our customer support team at info@smartheat.us or +1 (970) 567-9801. Your phone number will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share SMS opt-in consent with any third parties for solicitation purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

What this programme is
HEAT, LLC sends text messages to distributors, contractors and engineers who have asked for them, about business they already have with us:
- Purchase order confirmations and status.
- Shipment and delivery notices.
- Back-order notices and expected dates.
- Support, warranty and credit-memo case updates.
- Replies to a question you sent us.
This is a customer-care programme. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages under it.

How you opt in
You join the programme in one of these ways, and only these:
- By ticking the SMS consent box on a form on smartheat.us and giving your mobile number. The box is never ticked for you.
- By ticking the SMS consent box in your account on portal.smartheat.us.
- By telling a HEAT, LLC representative, in writing, that you want case and order updates by text at a number you give.
Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of buying anything from us or of any distributor or contractor relationship.

Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Messages are sent in response to activity on your orders and cases, so the number depends on how much business is moving. There is no fixed schedule and no recurring broadcast.

Cost
Message and data rates may apply. HEAT, LLC does not charge for these messages. Your mobile carrier may, depending on your plan. Check with your carrier if you are not sure.

How to stop the messages
Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will get one confirmation message and then no more, unless you sign up again. We also accept END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and QUIT. Stopping text messages does not cancel an order, close a case, or stop us contacting you by email or phone about business you have with us.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier's network and is not guaranteed. Supported carriers can change without notice.

Who may sign up
You must be 18 or older, and you must be the account holder of the mobile number you give us, or have that person's permission. If the number stops being yours, tell us so we can remove it.

Privacy
Required wording — do not edit
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party, except the vendors that help us deliver the messages — our messaging platform provider and phone companies.

Changes
We may change these terms. The new version is posted here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects the programme, we will say so in a message before it takes effect.
